Patience

I’ve been taking care of my 2 year old niece during the day these past 2 weeks & the biggest lesson this is teaching me is patience. I can have a whole list of things to do during the day, mostly while she’s napping but if she fights her sleep, I can’t do the smallest things like taking a shower or household up keeping. These are things that can be done at other times of the day by getting up earlier than her or overall managing my time better.

I can cook a meal while she’s in her high chair, but even her favorite show & snacks will get old after a while and she’ll get antsy. She’ll want to get out & be held but that moment may not be the best time for me to hold her... that lesson for her applied to me as well. I may want certain things to happen in my life but that moment may not be the right time for it to happen for me. I still want it to happen, and that opportunity is still available for me, I just have to be patient & trust the timing.

Today she reminded me that what’s meant for me will never miss me. Everything is always working out in my favor even when I don’t understand it. I have to continue to put in the work towards me goals because when you stay ready, you won’t have to get ready. When I was done cooking, she was ready for me to pick her up & we shared the meal.

Reminders:

Great things are unfolding.

Stop doubting the process.

Be patient.

Everything happens for a reason,

Be patient.

Trust the timing.

Never Give Up!
